Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, a beefed-up Taylor Lautner and the rest of the Twilight gang will be reassembling in Vancouver, British Columbia, on Aug. 17, when they will begin production on Eclipse, the third installment of the Stephenie Meyer franchise.

Production on the film will run until the vampire- and werewolf-friendly date of Oct. 31, just a few weeks before the recently wrapped second installment of the saga, New Moon, is released on Nov. 20.

As for Eclipse, which will be directed by David Slade and written by Dexter scribe Melissa Rosenberg, the blockbuster-in-waiting is scheduled for release on June 30, 2010.

What a great day!!  Peter Facinelli was all over Hollywood today, meeting his loyal, loving fans.  I got to meet him at Affliction clothing store on Melrose Ave, where Peter signed autographs for 3 hours.  Here’s mine

He was so sweet and so cute!

While I was getting my picture taken with him, the camera wasn’t working well and it was taking a long time.  So he had his arm around my waist and we were holding the pose and I said through my smile “did it go off yet” and Peter said, “I don’t know… well, I’ll just tickle you then.”  And then he tickled my side and I giggled like the starstruck girl that I am.  I love Peter Facinelli, if you get a chance to meet him, I highly recommend it

For those of you who don’t know, Peter Facinelli has recently accepted a bet with a friend of his named Rob, from development company 211me-Inc.com. Rob bet that Peter couldn’t get 500,000 followers in a week. If Peter fails at reaching that goal by Midnight, Pacific time on June 19th, he will have to hand over the back of his Twilight director’s chair, which he does not want to part with. However, if he can reach that goal, Rob has to dance down Hollywood Blvd, in a bikini, singing “All The Single Ladies’ by Beyonce, while holding a sign saying “Twitter Me”. The best part, Peter gets to video tape it and put it on YouTube for all the world to see! So, if you don’t have a Twitter account, go make one and be sure to follow Peter. If you are already following him, you can tell your friends about the bet, and get them to tell their friends. We won’t be able to do this without everyone’s help. When I met former New York Governor George Pataki. I don’t really get starstruck by actors, but Pataki was a governor! I grew up in New York. That was kind of a big deal.

Jesus! I hope you don’t know something I don’t. So many foods… I don’t know why but a hamburger keeps popping to mind.

Last Time I Cried:

Wow. The last time I cried was when – what’s that singer’s name who didn’t win America, err, Britain’s Got Talent? When Susan Boyle didn’t win. Because she should’ve won, dammit!

Let me see. Hold on. [checks] Rob Pattinson. I said, “I’ll see you in a little bit.” He’s in NYC.

Peter Facinelli: “When we shot Twilight, it felt like it was an indie. We were racing the clock. Catherine [Hardwicke] was fantastic, but with New Moon it felt like we had more time to play. The atmospheres were different. They were both great…in their own ways. I just think New Moon is going to be incredible.”

Michael Welch:  “When we all got on the set the first day, [Chris Weitz] gave us this packet of 30 to 40 pages of what he wanted the film to look and feel like—how he was going to shoot it, all of that stuff. The thing is, both Chris and Catherine—I don’t want to say one is better than the other. They are polar opposites in terms of style. Catherine can only succeed in chaos, really. But Chris is the exact opposite; he’s so calm and has all his stuff together. He really made this film great.”

Christian Serratos said that New Moon is “still really close to the book, but it’s hard to explain:  “When I read the script [for Twilight], I was just like oh my God. I knew what was going to happen because I’d read the book, but when I read this script. Wow. I was on pins and needles wondering what was coming next. It’s just that good.”
